| Our summer reading programs and
bike tours fill up fast and space is limited. The total
cost of this summer reading program and bike tour is $5,000.00 Canadian.
Registration and testing fees for the trip are completed when the
registration form is filled out and the deposit of $1000.00 CA is
paid. The remaining amount of $4000.00 CA is due 30 days before the
start date of the trip. To register, please go to the online registration form.
Online registration is preferred but you may also print this form
and send it in by regular mail.
The $1000.00 CA covers the diagnostic testing of the student as well
as the registration fee. $500.00 CA is a non-refundable
payment after the initial diagnostic reading test is completed. At
this time it is decided if your student will benefit or not from our
program. If he/she will not benefit from our program, $500.00 CA of
the $1000.00 CA will be refunded at once.
Your initial diagnostic reading test is administered over the internet.
A discussion then follows on what the
educational requirements will involve and a course laid out for both parents and
student. This is when we start to put together the educational reading
material your student will be learning on the bike tour. See the page on testing and evaluation. Final testing is done on the
first two days of the bike tour, for an update on your student's assessment. Any
changes to your student's first reading assessment are used for any last minute changes necessary.
All decisions are made jointly with the
your student, parents
and our director, Carol Wright. Final contracts are signed. Registration is
completed by payment of the remaining $4000.00 CA.
